Back in 2013, I showed up for a photo walk hosted by prolific photographers Thomas Hawk and Trey Ratcliff. The event was sponsored by Google, which was having its annual I/O conference near the walk, and who gave everyone a copy of the Nik software suite, and one lucky person got a Google Glass. Also Thomas and Trey got Google Glasses. And some other bloggers were there too. And then about 400 of us photographers showed up. Four hundred people can't go on a meaningful photo walk it was more like a flash mob of people holding cameras. The effect of all it was kind of funny, kind of dumb, but overall enjoyable. I'd do it again.

about Branden Frederick

I am a photographer: I have fun taking photos, and I always have.

I've had a camera in my hand my whole life, a 110 camera as a kid, and the high school's 35mm SLR later. In 2008 I spent six months doing nothing but taking photos and loved it. From that point on I've had my camera surgically attached to my hand (I lie). I went digital in the year 2000, and I came back to film in 2013. My parents tell me my photos are "nice".
