I was asked to photograph artist Jamie Scholnick's new exhibit, "Hello Kitty Gets a Mouth". Scholnick prepared custom paintings, each of Hello Kitty with a target where her mouth would be. Then the models, dressed in their Hello Kitty war paint, would fire red paintballs at the canvas, thereby "shooting the mouth" onto Hello Kitty.
